Prince George, the eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, celebrates his eighth birthday on Thursday. It has already become a tradition that the mother’s portrait was published on the official profiles of the princely couple.
On the occasion of the birthday of her eldest son, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate published a portrait she took of him in early July in Norfolk. He is wearing a blue and orange striped polo shirt and is smiling towards the camera.
George is the eldest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Born on July 22, 2013, the Prince is third in line to the British throne – after his grandfather and father. Fourth and fifth places are taken by the little prince’s siblings: six-year-old sister Charlotte and three-year-old brother Louis.
According to the decision of Queen Elizabeth II, all children of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales, i.e. the heir to the throne, are entitled to the His / Her Majesty’s predicate. Prince George is also the Queen’s eldest great-grandson in the line of succession.
