HDE’s appeal was supported by representatives of well-known German trading groups, such as the Rewe Group, the Schwarz Group (Lidl, Kaufland), the Edeka headquarters, Aldi, Otto, Douglas, and Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof. Ikea in Germany also joined the appeal.
“We have to take advantage of this summer”
It’s about convincing as many people as possible to get vaccinated, emphasizes Genth. The danger of a fourth wave of infection has not yet been settled. – We have to use this summer to better prepare for the pandemic. Now it’s (important) vaccination, vaccination, vaccination, Genth said.
