Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Development, Labor and Technology Jarosław Gowin announced that the vaccination campaign in companies would start from mid-May. – It all depends on the integrity of the vaccine companies, but we are hopeful, he added.

On Monday, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Development, Labor and Technology Jarosław Gowin met with representatives of entrepreneurs on vaccination in workplaces. – We hope that the vaccination campaign in workplaces will start in mid-May. Of course, we have to provide it with the proviso that it all depends on the reliability and trustworthiness of vaccine companies, but we are of good cheer “- said Gowin after the meeting.

The deputy prime minister noted that by the end of the week, the government and business representatives would work out the rules for the vaccination process in workplaces.

– I think that by the end of this week we will work out solutions that will be acceptable from the point of view of the government, especially from the health ministry, and from the point of view of business – he added.

“Companies are in full readiness”

– Our postulate is that this action (vaccination in workplaces – ed.) Should take place as soon as possible, as soon as vaccines are available. Companies are ready to take part in the vaccination campaign – said the president of the Confederation Lewiatan Maciej Witucki during the conference.

He added that in the vaccination campaign in workplaces there will be no restrictions on the age of people who will be vaccinated, and there will also be no restrictions on company co-workers or employees from abroad.

– The final criteria will be known early next week, the declaration received from Minister Michał Dworczyk mentions 500 people. There is an opening for 500 people in the company, including co-workers or people necessary for the functioning of this company, said Witucki.

The head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the government’s plenipotentiary for the vaccination program, Michał Dworczyk, announced at the end of March that in the second quarter the vaccination against COVID-19 in workplaceswith at least 500 willing employees. As he said, the entire responsibility for the organization of vaccinations will rest with the employer.
