The health minister agreed to vaccination as a priority for five professional groups. This applies to 1,800 people, said the head of the prime minister’s office and the government’s plenipotentiary for vaccination, Michał Dworczyk, at a press conference on Monday.
The head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Michał Dworczyk, announced at a press conference on Monday that “he received requests from several dozen institutions to speed up vaccination in connection with what roles these institutions play or what tasks they perform from the point of view of the functioning of the state”.
He added that after consultations with the Medical Council at Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, negative opinions were issued in the case of 17 of these institutions. – In the case of five such groups, I addressed a request to the minister of health for the possibility of vaccinating employees of these entities as a priority. The minister agreed with this, informed Dworczyk.
He indicated that this applies to:
– emergency medical dispatchers and notification center – employees of the Government Strategic Reserves Agency – CeZ (e-Health Center), that is “the institution responsible for IT support for all processes carried out by the Ministry of Health, also for IT services and the operation of the central vaccination calendar and systems necessary for ordering vaccines “- Chmura Krajowej”, which also operates the system of central registration and calendar “-” of institutions that supply oxygen to hospitals.
– In total, it will be about 1,800 people – he said. – The employees of these institutions will be vaccinated in the coming days to ensure the continuity of the vaccination process in Poland – said the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
Dworczyk: 64,000 people born in 1962 registered
On Monday, the registration of vaccinations for people born in 1962 was started. The head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, responsible for the vaccination campaign, assured that the registration was proceeding smoothly. “I believe it will continue to be so,” he pointed out.
Dworczyk informed before 14. that so far, 64,000 people from 1962 have registered since midnight. – We have one and a half million free dates by the end of May – these are both internal and external slots, but these are all openings that will be – I am convinced – successively filled in – said the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
