National Reconstruction Plan
The ratification of the decision on increasing resources by all EU Member States is needed to launch both the Multiannual Financial Framework for 2021-2027 and the Reconstruction Fund. Poland is to receive a total of PLN 770 billion over several years from the EU budget and the Reconstruction Fund.
The basis for the payment of funds from the EU Reconstruction Fund is the National Reconstruction Plan. The KPO was adopted by the Council of Ministers on Friday. On Monday, the document was officially sent to the European Commission.
The KPO has a grant and a loan part. From the Reconstruction Fund, Poland will have around EUR 58 billion at its disposal. This amount consists of EUR 23.9 billion in grants and EUR 34.2 billion in loans.
