Jarosław Kaczyński has something to be afraid of, because the United Right has a rather difficult period ahead of him and it is possible that it will collapse – said Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, member of the Civic Coalition on TVN24, in “Fakty po Faktach”. In his opinion, the government camp will not survive in its current shape until the parliamentary elections, which should take place in 2023.
Deputy Prime Minister, Jarosław Kaczyński, the president of PiS in an interview for “Gazeta Polska” he said that there are tensions in the coalition and that it is good for the coalition partners to remember the proverb “as long as the jug carries water until his ear breaks off”. – Well, it can break off – added Kaczyński.
The PiS president said that “there may be events that will shorten the term of office” and early elections. – But to be clear, I do not forecast early elections. I just do not exclude such a possibility – he emphasized.
“Three-quarters of this interview had one addressee”
Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, a member of the Civic Coalition, referred to Kaczyński’s interview and tensions in the government camp in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24.
– Three-quarters of this interview had one addressee – Zbigniew Ziobro, with the threat of expulsion from the coalition and at the same time blackmailing the opposition: “you are to vote for this package with us, you must save my government, otherwise you will not be Poles,” Sienkiewicz said, referring to vote on increasing the European Union’s own resources to mobilize the EU Reconstruction Fund. The government camp is divided on this matter, representatives of Ziobro’s party, Solidarna Polska, have announced that they will not vote for the ratification.
– We are already used to this kind of blackmail (from the side of – editor) of Kaczyński, including insults, because in the same interview it turned out that we are a cancer that carries out Polish politics – said the KO MP, referring to other words of the PiS president, in which he described the actions of the parliamentary opposition as “a cancer of Polish politics” and “incredible harmfulness”.
Sienkiewicz: Kaczyński has nothing to fear because the United Right has a rather difficult period ahead
According to Sienkiewicz, Jarosław Kaczyński “resorts to such language, insults, innuendo, even rudeness when he is afraid”. – And there is nothing to be afraid of, because the United Right is facing a rather difficult period and it is possible that it will collapse – he added.
The KO deputy also referred to the statement of the PiS chairman, in which he admitted that he did not rule out early parliamentary elections. – It is clear that these elections had to show themselves as another bogey. As the Civic Coalition, we say that you need to be prepared non-stop for the elections, because we do not forecast that the United Right will survive for the next 2.5 years – he added.
