SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The person accused of strangling the California serial killer often known as the “I-5 Strangler” will not face the demise penalty, a prosecutor mentioned Wednesday.

Amador County District Lawyer Todd Riebe mentioned he had filed first-degree homicide costs towards Jason Budrow and can search a sentence of life in jail with out risk of parole, the Sacramento Bee reported.
