On Wednesday evening, the Sejm deals with a motion of censure against Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro. – You are the worst justice minister in the history of Poland. Therefore, the only thing you should get today is not a vote of confidence, but a disciplinary dismissal – said the representative of the applicants, Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz from the Civic Coalition.
A motion to dismiss the minister of justice was lodged at the beginning of June by a group of members of the Civic Coalition. In their justification they wrote that it is “an expression of opposition to the actions taken by Zbigniew Ziobro, which aim is to politicize and subordinate the executive to the judiciary in Poland.”
The application on Tuesday night was negatively evaluated by the parliamentary justice committee. The minister emphasized that the work of the prosecutor’s office is well assessed by the courts themselves. In turn, according to MPs, the state is “deaf to the scandals of people associated with power.”

And here it is, a disciplinary dismissal, which I am sending to you on behalf of millions of Poles who are fed up turning a blind eye to the scandals involving PiS people, who are fed up with politicizing the courts, who are fed up with politicizing the prosecutor’s office and using it for party purposes, who are fed up destroying European standards and introducing in Poland standards known so far from Russia and Belarus, who are fed up with the paralysis of the Constitutional Tribunal – she continued, presenting the print with the inscription “disciplinary dismissal” from the parliamentary rostrum.
– Let this disciplinary dismissal be a symbol of five years of your presence in the Ministry of Justice – concluded MP KO.
