There are arguments and reasons for the president of the Supreme Audit Office to draw conclusions and not put others in a difficult situation, warned the head of the PiS Executive Committee Krzysztof Sobolewski on Tuesday. Michał Dworczyk was also asked about the NIK report on the postal elections, who according to media reports is mentioned in the document. “I am calmly waiting for it to be published,” he said.

According to journalists, the Supreme Audit Office “has evidence that puts Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the head of his office, Michał Dworczyk, in a difficult legal position. Sobolewski warns Banasia
On Tuesday, the head of the PiS Executive Committee, Krzysztof Sobolewski, was asked in a broadcast of Radio Wrocław whether Law and Justice would want to recall Marian Banas from the position of the head of the Supreme Audit Office. – At the moment, the situation is such that he (Marian Banaś – editor’s note) is appointed for a term that results from the constitution. The issue of a possible appeal is a highly controversial and difficult issue. So the situation we are in is not easy. I hope that the President of the Supreme Audit Office will also reflect, said Sobolewski.
He also stated that he did not know if PiS “would like to dismiss” the head of the Supreme Chamber of Control. – However, there are arguments and reasons for the president of the Supreme Audit Office to draw conclusions and not put others in a difficult situation – he said.
Dworczyk: I am calmly waiting for the NIK report
The head of the prime minister’s office, Michał Dworczyk, was asked in a Tuesday interview on Radio Zet whether he was afraid of this report. – I am calmly waiting for it to be published – Dworczyk replied.
When asked if he already knew the results of this audit, the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister assured that “we have been carrying out correspondence for several months and we have been explaining these issues, just like in the case of any NIK audit”. – And we have several of them carried out in parallel over the last few months, because the Supreme Audit Office is watching the activities of the Law Firm very closely and it’s good, because we have nothing to hide – Dworczyk assured.
As he emphasized, “we, of course, also corresponded on this matter and explained a number of issues to the Supreme Audit Office”. – And I also explained all kinds of doubts to the NIK college personally when I was summoned there – noted Dworczyk.
Taking into account that, according to Onet, the Supreme Audit Office shows in this report that the organization of these elections took place unlawfully, and the institutions that were involved in them broke the law many times, the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister replied that he would be pleased to read this report when it was published. – And in accordance with the principle adopted many years ago, I will not comment on leaks, speculations, information behind the scenes and similar statements or texts – he emphasized.
