Trading Sundays 2020. Is November 22nd a trading Sunday?

In accordance with its provisions, on Sunday it will be possible to do shopping only in a few points of sale. These include owner-run stores in train stations and airports, bakeries, florists, ice cream parlors, gas stations, post offices or duty-free shops.
Trading Sundays 2020: how are they determined?
Trading Sundays 2020 are just seven set dates, while trading on Sunday is unlimited. The two closest are December 13 and 20. They are meant to be a convenience when shopping before Christmas.

There is no legal guidance on the choice of terms. As a rule, you can trade on the Sunday before Easter and Christmas. You can meet with the interpretation that the last Sundays of June and September as trading days are related to the beginning of the holiday and the return of children to schools. We already know which days will be trading Sundays in 2021. These will be:
- January 31
- March 28
- April 25
- June 27
- 29th of August
- December 12
- December 19
Trading Sunday: should the ban on trading on public holidays remain?
Due to restrictions in the functioning of the economy caused by the increase in the number of coronavirus cases, the discussion of the validity of the ban on trading on Sundays and public holidays returns. Abolition of this regulation, even if only for a while pandemic, she postulated, inter alia Confederation Leviathan. The relevant bill was submitted to the Senate committee which approved it. What do Poles say? According to a poll commissioned by Gazeta Wyborcza, up to 58.8% of Poles want to temporarily restore trade freedom on Sundays.

What should you remember when shopping?
- you must have your mouth and nose covered;
- if we do not have disposable gloves, it is worth using the option of hand disinfection;
- social distance should be kept (approx. 2 meters);
- from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12 pm, shopping can be done only by people over 60 years of age.
From November 7 to 29, new regulations apply in connection with epidemic coronavirus. Only:
- grocery stores
- pet stores
- pharmacies and drugstores
- kiosks and bookstores
- service points.
