Due to COVID-19, the popular Ukrainian blogger Dmytro Stuzuk, the husband of the most famous Ukrainian instagrammer Sofija Stuzuk, died. A woman wrote in the spring that the danger of SARS-CoV-2 was exaggerated.

According to the Ukrainian BBC, 34-year-old Dmytro Stużuk fell ill with COVID-19 about a week ago. Journalists recall that in March his wife, instagramer Sofija Stużuk, published a long post on the coronavirus. In it, she stated that the virus was “artificially created in 2015”. “Undoubtedly, it is not very pleasant to go through. But the danger is overemphasized. It is not much more terrible than the ordinary flu, really. I am not afraid of the virus” – she said.

In connection with her husband’s illness and death, she wrote another post in which she continued to maintain that “COVID-19 is not a dangerous disease for those who are perfectly healthy”, but added that “Dima had problems with the circulatory system and complications touched the heart.” . As she announced on Friday, “Dmytro’s heart could not stand it”.

Before his death, the blogger described the course of COVID-19 on Instagram. As he reported, he felt bad during his stay in Turkey. “I woke up in the middle of the night because my neck was swollen and it was hard to breathe. At the same time, my stomach hurt a bit. The next day I coughing but I didn’t have any elevated temperature. I didn’t have any particular symptoms of the disease, so I thought maybe it was the effects of training, climate and diet changes, as well as sleeping in air conditioning, “wrote Dmytro under the photo where he is wearing an oxygen mask.

The man was tested positive for coronavirus. “They recommended treatment for me, they gave me an oxygen device because I had a low level of oxygen in my blood” – he informed. In an entry published shortly before his death, he argued that his condition was stable.

BBC Ukraine reports that Sofija Stużuk has the most followers on Ukrainian Instagram – 5 million, and her husband had a million followers. The topics of both entries include healthy lifestyle and fitness.
