Who will be the next US president, Donald Trump or Joe Biden? The United States is living with this question. Jacek Stawiski talked about the elections to be held on November 3 in the program “Horizon” on TVN24 with Renata Nowaczewska, an Americanist from the University of Szczecin.
The Americanist said that the support difference between Trump and Biden in national polls “is small.” “About 54 to 43, others say 53 to 41,” she explained.
But she added that “by state, which is very important, the outlook looks very positive for Joe Biden.” – Especially in those big states: Florida, California, Texas, Pennsylvania, where the electoral votes are the most numerous. There, Biden’s chances of winning are estimated at 70-90 percent – Nowaczewska said.
She pointed out that in these states, compared to the previous elections in 2016, support for the Democratic candidate increased by 3 to 8 percentage points.
