Police officers from Śródmieście detained a 33-year-old woman suspected of possessing a significant amount of intoxicants. According to officers, a thousand portions of mephedrone were found in her apartment. It turned out that she was wanted by arrest warrants.
According to Robert Szumiata, the press officer of the city center headquarters, officers from the operational and reconnaissance department entered one of the apartments on Marszałkowska Street. They suspected that a woman who had a significant amount of intoxicants might be staying there.

– After entering the premises and a thorough search of all rooms in one of the rooms and in a woman’s purse lying on the windowsill, the police found a total of nearly 1,000 commercial portions of mephedrone. The woman admitted that she bought intoxicants for PLN 3,000 in order to sell and earn them – Szumiata informed. He added that police had secured a drug portioning scale and cell phones that the 33-year-old could use to contact the supplier or potential customers.
After checking the woman at the police base, it turned out that she was wanted by arrest warrants to serve a total sentence of eight years in prison for numerous frauds. – A total of 13 legal grounds for detention were issued for the 33-year-old – Szumiata said.
The woman was charged with the possession of a significant amount of intoxicants, for which, in accordance with the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction, she faces up to 10 years imprisonment. – The detainee will spend the next few years in a prison where she will be awaiting another sentence, this time in a case for a drug offense. – summed up the policeman.
